Blender Shenanigans:episode 3

I read an article about how a stupid amount of people spend a stupid amount of money buying hats for TF2. Now I had heard rumours about people paying thousands for rare hats but I didn't realise how many of these people there were. I had already had a go at making things for the steam workshop but the technical difficulties outlived my enthusiam and so I did nothing on that front until recently.

Now, fueled by greed, I have embarked upon the journey of making a hat, and, possibly, submitting it to the steam workshop.

Blender Shenanigans: episode 2

Mowdel of a car. Meaning to complete and texture this sometime.

Blender Shenanigans: episode 1

So I've been using Blender more lately. I still don't really know what I'm doing but I've made a fair amount of progress during this time.

It started with the modeling of this gun I had drawn a while ago and liked the idea of. It's called the thundergun and it goes zap.

Doing this introduced me to modifiers and materials and rendering, which I either didn't know about or could barely use.

new game:SUPER CAVE

The past two days I've been working on a completely new game for a gamejam over on Braingale, an obscure web forum for cool kids who make games such as myself and JMickle who made most of the music for this game.

The theme was 'medieval' so I made a game with a knight in it.

This is that game.

This is...

SUPER CAVE

So if you feel like having a go at it you can download it at any one of these hosts:

Bomb Detective

Explore a planet and throw bombs at everything in this late entry to the GMC game jam.

Download bombdetective.zip from Host-A

Play on Yoyogames

Graphics are pseudo-retro and are therefore pretty cool."Pseudo-retro" meaning four colors and 8x8 sprites, not "badly drawn", which is open to interpretation.

This game was made for GMC's "jam". Unfortunately it didn't make the deadline.
